[Haruna Shizuoka]

"You could say that I wandered the campus, yes~ Apart from that, I stayed in my room to study, research, and... well, play. Not Duel Monsters, though. Something much more intriguing."

Of course, Haruna wouldn't spoil the surprise just yet. she wanted Niri to continue to look up to her for a bit, after all. The younger woman was adorable and it would've been nice to look after her kouhai~ She was an admirer too, which made for some bonus points~

"What did you do on your spare time, Niri? I'm sure you were good with your grades, but you must've done more than study~ Perhaps you had other interests~?"

Smiling, Niri nodded. "Apart from Duel Monsters and my studies, I was in the library as an assistant. I loved being around the books so much my first year, I just had to keep going back, hence why I'm the librarian now."

Blushing faintly, Niri played with the bottom of her ponytail. "But when I wasn't there, I was swimming. I loved the water so much I bought several different swimsuits so that I could swim a lot." Looking over at Haruna, she held up two fingers. "I also sang whenever I was alone."

Haruna slowly walked with her along the hallways and listened intently, truly interested. A cute story about the library was certainly attractive to Haruna, and perhaps stuff could happen in the library too~ The blondie wasn't above having fun in new places, after all. And then she mentioned other things. Like the pool. Oh, the pool...~ It made Haruna's mind wander to possible Summer flings. Oh, how fun that would be. Her imagination was cut off by the mention of singing.

"Singing~? That sounds lovely! I like singing myself as well, as a hobby. We should do a duet sometime~"

Which was a half-truth, half-lie sort of deal. She did a few songs for some of her idol jobs, and some of her songs were slightly popular. Whether or not Niri was aware of this, though, Haruna really couldn't be sure. After all, she knew about her modeling. What else could she have known about?

"As for the swimming, you should drop by the pool during the summer classes! I'm the P.E. teacher, after all, so I supervise all of that stuff~"

At the mention of a duet, Niri blushed. "I never sang when there were people around," she said, looking away. Never really one to show off or share her talent, Niri always stayed away from the spotlight.

Looking over at Haruna, she nodded. "I'd like that. Of course, it would be hard for me to be dragged out of the water. I was called a fish as a kid."

She suddenly blushed a bright red at some horribly naughty images in her head, looking in the other direction. "SO!" she said loudly. "How did you get your job?"

"Then you're going to let me be your first audience, right?"

When she'd turned to listen to Niri talk, Haruna couldn't help but notice the significant number of blushes that Niri pulled since the two of them met, truly amused by the fact that there were still women as old as the two of them that were as shy as the blue-haired maiden. There was no way Haruna could resist stripping her of her innocence. After all, Niri seemed to not have any experience with that sort of thing, and she didn't mention being interested in men. Then again, that topic hadn't really come up. Haruna sipped at her bottle again and turned her body so that she could face Niri directly.

"As for how I got my job, I had come back to the academy just to visit. The old headmaster recognized me and offered me a position in the staff. Figured that the students would have a goal to strive for if I was their P.E. teacher. I'm not entirely sure as to what he meant by that. Maybe you could clue me in? Also, I'm curious as to how you got your job here."

Niri snorted. "Strive to be better? I hardly think that students are interested in physical education when it comes to duel monsters. However, with you as the teacher, I'm sure it would be physical, or so he's hoping," Niri said, almost sounding upset. As she took the water bottle, she crossed her arms.

Wait, why was she getting upset?

Letting out a huffy sigh, she looked at the bottle in hand. "As a student, my favorite spot to be outside of the pool was the library. I studied so hard so that I could be the best in my class, even though I was a weak duelist. When I graduated and went back home, all I could think about was school. I came back about six months ago to ask for the position. I've been the librarian for two months now, just fixing it up."

Stretching her arms in front of her before lifting them in the air, she let out a whine before lowering her arms. "The school needs new books, I have to go and order them later."

Haruna heard the tone in her voice and detected a hint of hostility in her voice. Which was intriguing to her due to the fact that she'd emphasized the word "physical," which really could have meant anything. Or could it have? Haruna smiled lightly and slipped an arm around Niri's shoulder, pulling her in so that they could stand together~

"They might not have to be interested in the class, sure, but a job is a job, and getting it led me here after all~"

Of course, Haruna made her statement of having been led "here" much too vague for anyone to really know what she was talking about. She could have meant the school, could have meant the present time. Or she could have just meant spending time with Niri. All of the above really would have been practical to think. Then Niri mentioned her passion and how she got the job. It made sense, after all. She certainly must have been capable at it.

"I'll have to drop by the library sometime to see the new books then~ Or whenever, even. If you're ever feeling like you need someone to be with you in the library, feel free to give me a call~"

"Yeah, maybe."

Smiling, Niri closed her eyes and leaned in on Haruna, that is, until she pulled away, laughing. "Before that though," she said, holding her nose as if smelling something awful. "You should take a shower."

Giggling, she uncapped the water bottle and took a sip. "Wouldn't want you to stink up my library now, especially with all your running."

Haruna blinked as she'd heard Niri mention that she'd needed a shower. She'd totally forgotten that she'd been on a run and was sweating all around her body. Of course she'd smell of exercise and work. She'd given her own body a sniff and understood what Niri was talking about, a frown forming on her face as she'd turned away from Niri to hide it. There was a light whine at the back of her throat, but she'd held it back to avoid losing face with Niri. Her frown quickly returned to a playful smile and she'd

"Well, you're right about that. Sorry if I got any sweat on you~"

She'd stretched her arms out as she thought about what she was going to do now. Either head to the teachers' dorms or sneak into one of the students' dorms for a quick shower. Either one would have worked really, but it would probably be more fun to use the Obelisk Dorm showers~

"Care to join me at the Obelisk Dorms, then~?"

Nodding, Niri smiled. "I'd like to see my old dorm, just to see if any one has taken my room." She then wondered how far her old room was from Haruna's. "Did you have any room mates when you were in Obelisk? I know it wasn't required but many did."

She liked hearing Haruna talk. Niri then bet that if Haruna talked about something dull or mundane as laundry, it was be made exciting.

"Me? Oh, heavens no. I requested my own room for various reasons. Sometimes, it's nice to have some alone time, right? Especially for some special... activities~"

Haruna giggled lightly as she'd allowed the wind to cool her body so that she could relax and allow the shower water to wash away the sweat. On top of that, she found it fun to hang out with Niri. It was a pleasant surprise in comparison to all of her male stalkers and her young fangirls. Someone who was actually intelligent and could be fun in more ways than most people figured.

"How about you?"

This was asked in a way that could be interpreted in certain ways, examples being that Haruna could have been talking about roommates still, or she could have been talking about her "activities." One could take it as they wanted, and Haruna was especially fond of the latter. If Niri thought in the same fashion... well, perhaps Haruna would have some fun tonight~

Niri shook her head. "I did but I moved out within a few weeks. She and I weren't getting along so I moved out and into a different room. It was different when I was on my own, I didn't have to worry about keeping her up at night with studies and mock duels."

Uncapping the water bottle again, she drank more of the water. "But I suppose that being on your own is okay, after all, no one gets mad if you should stay up much later than curfew."

"Definitely~ I never took to the curfew myself~ Perhaps we could've been roommates!"

Haruna threw the suggestion out to Niri somewhat harmlessly, a sly smile gracing her lips as she winked at the librarian. Now that Haruna thought about it, though, it occurred to her that the teachers could also live on the island in their own dorms. It would be far too expensive and troublesome to commute between the island and the mainland during the day and night. Perhaps she could consider being roomies with Niri still...~

"But it certainly seems like you weer quite the bookworm, hm~? It's good to be loose once in awhile, though. Especially with your studies. In fact, I am the mistress of being 'loose' in all aspects~"

Haruna giggled as she'd sneakily taken the water bottle away from Niri. With quick movements of her fingers and a twist of the top, Haruna a swig of water with to quench her thirst. She'd looked at Niri with a but of a luscious look in her eye, hoping to reel Niri in for possibly sharing the shower~

"Well, I think we're almost close by~!"

Niri blushed thinking Haruna as a roommate. Perhaps they would have been roommates at one time but they were no longer students. Still, when Haruna claimed to be the mistress of being loose, Niri's mind when foul.

Waving it off with her hand, she looked ahead, nodding. "It hasn't changed at all," she remarked.

"Yup. Same old, same old~ It's kind of a relief to see it as such~"

Haruna traveled through the hallways until she'd reached an empty room, looking at the door number. 0689. It was a far off memory, but a fond one. Playing with people, dueling challengers, enjoying her alone time that she'd only have every few nights. It was something that she'd appreciated and something that touched upon quite a few of her emotions. But, even with the torrent of emotions that came with her memories, a smile of acceptance and of nostalgia remained on her face. She'd wiped the sweat off of her brow as she'd reached for the door handle and slowly turned it, noting that it was unlocked, and therefore unused.

"Here's my old dorm room~ It's nothing special, really~ Just the general Obelisk dorm stuff, y'know~?"

Walking in, she'd looked around and noted that everything was left as it was after a student had left the room. Everything was under good repair and Haruna could explore the room without getting lost, starting to remove her own clothes as she felt more and more comfortable~

"I should probably get into the shower soon before the sweat really starts to cling...~ Care to join me~?"

This was, of course, said merely in jest, Haruna not expecting Niri to take her up on the offer. After all, Niri seemed to be quite dignified in that respect. However, if she did take the offer up...
