DJ sighed after a bit of exploring around the academy grounds (a fancy way of saying he got lost a lot). He walked into his new room and looked around, setting the few small bags he had down. It was pretty nice, like a fancy hotel room, not quite homey but not quite so fancy that it felt awkward like he couldn't touch anything. He put his bags on the bed, looking over at the second bed not too far away. Housing seemed kind of busy when he had checked in for his room and he had been told he would probably be getting a roommate at some point or another but was not told anything about who it was or when they would be arriving. He knew the majority of Ra students had a roommate but he hadn't seen too many Ra students around in order to know what they were like and what he was getting into. He had seen the Obelisks as they seemed aloof but nice enough and the Osiris's that seemed down to earth and nice in their own way.
DJ made his bed and put away his clothes, setting out a few of his effects for decoration, getting the job done within less than two hours. He sighed and leaned back on his bed, he didn't have class for a few days so now he was just wondering what he should do until he had to do something. He took to sitting around, reading and adjusting his decks for about an hour before shrugging softly, quickly bored. Everyone else was probably still unpacking so he had to find someway to amuse himself.
"Guess I'll take a shower and finish getting settled in." He shrugged, grabbing a towel and inspecting the bathroom. It was pretty nice that their room had their own bathroom area by the wet bar (with no alcohol of course). The slick sheen of the tiles and the various aromas made the whole section of the room pleasant. He wrapped the towel around himself and soon hopped into the shower, enjoying the heat of the water and relaxing as he prepared for a year of classes and fun adventures dueling and exploring with lots of new friends.

Nana took a deep breath as she stopped outside of her new room, not quite knowing what to expect. She knew she had a roommate, but they wouldn't tell her two. All she could do was hope that the girl she was dorming with was nice, respectful, and - most importantly - not homicidal. With hope in her heart, she'd inserted the key into the doorway and... it was unlocked. Her roommate was in.
Welp. Here goes nothin!
Nana pushed herself in quickly, bracing herself for death when, all of a sudden- ... Nothing happened. All she heard was the shower running, and there being a couple of bags placed on a bed, which must have been her roommate's. She'd placed her bags on her bed and looked around, noting that the person in the shower must've been her new dormmate.
"HELLOOOOOO~?"

DJ continued his shower in general without interruption, impressed with the setup and working of the bathroom. The hot steam poured from the shower and fogged up the mirror, obscuring his vision as he finished up. He turned the water off and and stepped out, wrapping a towel around his waist and drying his hair. He stepped out of the bathroom slowly, shivering a bit as the steam released around him and he walked into the cooler air, sighing contently as he draped the smaller hair towel around his neck. "That was nice~" He chuckled softly.
It was then that he heard the girl's call into the nearly empty room. It took him a minute to register that it was a girl's voice and another minute to register that he recognized that particular girl's voice. He blushed deeply as he stood i a towel in front of his childhood friend. "N-NANA!?" His jaw dropped, his face as red as a tomato. He couldn't believe a girl was his doormmate, he thought the co-ed rooms thing was a joke or wishful thinking by the pervier guys. He wrapped his arms around his chest as if he was an exposed woman, still blushing as he hid behind a wall. "W-What? You're my roommate?" He blinked, poking his head out. Then again he realized it was better this way than someone who didn't know him, especially with this kind of first impression.

Nana stood there, bags in hand, staring blankly at her old, old friend and rival. She was at a severe loss for words and couldn't quite pull herself out of her "°ω°;;" face. She had no idea how to react. It was DJ... in a towel... coming out of the bathroom... being her roommate. She'd bitten her lip as she tried hard to pull words out of her mouth to give to the nude boy. However, even moving at all was difficult at this point. So, in the spirit of true anime cliche, she could only do one thing.
"KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
With that said, she'd turned away and allowed her bags to drop on the floor, holding her hands to her eyes and keeping away as she'd shaken her head left and right violently.
"DJ-KUN?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN THIS ROOM?! AND DRESSED LIKE THAT?!"

DJ too stood in a state of shock, becoming more unnerved by the girl he called his old friend's reaction, or lack there of by the minute. He tried to edge himself towards the dresser but that meat exposing his towel-clad body and bare chest as he desperately wanted to get some clothes on. He had just seized a pair of underwear and shorts when finally the reaction he had been anticipating and dreading exploded out into the room. He wouldn't have been surprised if someone barged into the room thinking he was attacking the poor girl the way she was screaming. He fumbled with the clothes in his hands, still blushing deeply as he held his ears with the one hand that wasn't holding up the towel.
"N-Nana-chan..." DJ blushed, watching her hold her hands to her eyes, quickly and deftly while she wasn't looking at him slipping the boxers and shorts on under the towel, thankfully finally getting the bare minimum of clothes on so he could take the towel off and drape it around his neck. "I-I guess I'm your roommate... and I just got out of the shower, it's nothing creepy I swear!" He turned red as a cherry, turning his head away from her quickly. Why did all of his encounters with girls at this academy turn out weird? So it wasn't just a myth, girls and boys really could room together, how odd.

Nana's mind was caught up in a flurry of random thoughts, the most prominent being that she was assigned a room with a boy in it. She had no idea that a co-ed school like this would allow the separate genders to dorm together! It perturbed her and she really had no idea what to do, keeping her eyes covered as she tried to gather her bearings.
"N-Nothing creepy, huh...? Well, I don't remember you being like that, so I guess I'm inclined to believe you. You were always too shy back in school to even talk to a girl in the first place...~"
She'd lightly giggled as she'd slowly removed her hands and noted that he'd at least had some bottoms on now, looking up and down him and stopping at his face and hair. He looked oddly the same after so many years. It both intrigued her and relieved her. She was glad to be getting a roommate that she already knew, though she might've preferred meeting new people instead. However, dorming with an old friend also meant that things were going to be easier.
"Soooo... you should probably put a shirt on."

DJ was still blushing as he adjusted what little clothes he had on, setting the towel aside on the rack to dry. "Y-Yeah!" He nodded softly. He'd wished she'd have thought he was too nice for something like that rather than too wimpy but what was important was protecting his integrity and not freaking her out. Though she remembered well, he had that problem when he was young and though it had gotten a bit better, he still had trouble talking to girls in certain situations. "That's true I suppose, though I never had trouble talking to you Nana." He smiled warmly, she was always a good friend to him, that was why he wouldn't try anything like that out of respect.
Hopefully things would be less awkward since they knew and trusted one another, he couldn't imagine how awkward this would have been if he'd gotten a different girl as a roommate, there was about a 50/50 chance that he'd be getting dragged away by the police right now if it wasn't a female who knew him so well. He looked down as she mentioned his shirt, he'd almost forgotten he had neglected to put one on. "EEEP!" He squealed, covering his chest as he backed up a bit as if he was a girl protecting his modesty. He quickly grabbed a shirt from his last bag and whipped it on, finally fully dressed as he stood before her, blushing a bit still. "There, better?" He smiled softly.
