"I've heard some other Lore, but my specialty is of course the Lore of Lord Shien and his court." said Shizuma as he followed her down stairs. "As far as getting rid of what the opponent has, well, you can only do what you can with what you got. And that's something I know the Samurai can do. Also, the one reason I like the Samurai...is the sense of teamwork and dedication I feel when I use them in a duel. However, I know for a fact that sometimes stalling an army is the best method of defeating an opponent, and from the sounds of things you do it well."
Shizuma smiled and knew that his knowledge of lore may or may not be as good as others when it came to the Monster's themselves, however he was enjoying this conversation. And strangely, he felt at home talking with this girl. It was a comforting feeling and he hoped she wouldn't mind his company for a bit.

[atrb=valign, top] She walked towards the front foyer and looked to the side. "You flatter me, Shizuma-san." She said quietly. She put her hand back in her pocket and her feet clicked down the hallway towards the foyer. She looked ahead with a quiet smile on her face.
"It would be nice to see you duel sometime." She said quietly. She said it a bit oddly though. She didn't seem to think that she'd be the one dueling him to see it... only that she would see it. She rounded a corner with him and pointed towards the bulletin board in the hallway.
"This is where all the messages for the dorm go." She said as she stopped to look at it. She looked particularily closely at a Valentine's Day dance event and then proceeded to shake her head before advancing on. "Sometimes you'll get school-wide announcements, sometimes someone's lost something, other times someone will send a message if your phone happens to be off. That sort of thing. Useful little thing if you need information." | [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=valign, top][atrb=style, width:400px, bTable][style=text-align:center;width:100px; font-family:bookman old style; font-size:10px; line-height:10px; border: 4px #000000 solid; width: 100px; height: 100px;]

Shizuma looked at the Board for a bit and nodded at the information on it.
"Alright, this looks like a great place for me to find challenges or heck even a fun thing to do every now and then. That dance looks interesting but if I could get someone to go with that soon, yeah right..." said Shizuma with a joking laugh.
It was way to soon in his time here to have found someone to date. He had also taken note of her comment on wanting to watch him duel. Wouldn't the phrase normally be about wanting to duel him sometime? It was odd...but maybe he would correct her when he said...
"You know, watching is nice...but i wouldn't mind going one on one with you too sometime, Mizuki-san."

[atrb=valign, top] She sideglanced at him and shook her head. "You can put yourself into a random draw for a partner to accompany you. It doesn't have to be a romantic event." She commented as she started to walk away. "I myself have mostly chosen to stay away from such things, but I can understand the appeal. I hear it is a good place to get to know people." She commented, and she shrugged her shoulders. "You should go, even if you don't have a date."
She then stopped, and turned around. It seemed like she was ignoring the other question. "You still coming along?" | [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=valign, top][atrb=style, width:400px, bTable][style=text-align:center;width:100px; font-family:bookman old style; font-size:10px; line-height:10px; border: 4px #000000 solid; width: 100px; height: 100px;]

"Oh Wait up!" said Shizuma as he moved to catch up quickly to Mizuki in order to keep pace.
He hadn't heard about people being able to enter a random drawing to go with someone to the Valentine's Day dance but he supposed that was one way to handle it. Whether he decides to go or not he would leave it up into the air at this point. But he would continue with the tour of course wanting to see more of the island he would call his home.

She smiled a tiny bit to herself and waited for a moment, then continued on with him.
"You'll find the advisor's office and dorm down that way." She said, pointing. "That way leads to the house pool. Just down the hall is the common room; you can entertain yourself there on your time off, but I wouldn't suggest studying there. I'd suggest the library for that. Other then that, the dorm is mostly just used as sleeping quarters, and the rest of the school is used for the different activities." She looked to the side at him. "I can give you a walk around the school if you want."

"Yeah Sure!" said Shizuma excitedly as he nodded and followed.
The pool would be a great place to hang out not to mention the common room. But the library...he wondered if there was written Monster World lore in there. He did enjoy the lore especially when it came to the Six Samurai. The Library would probably be the best place to do deck work and things of that sort.
"So, where are we heading first Mizuki-san?"
"They are so cute together..." said Yaichi as she continued to follow the two of them.

"I assume the main school. You'd probably like to know where your classes are, the library, the cafeteria... Oh dear, there's a lot of places to show." She started walking out the front door and opened the door for him, holding it open after she had passed through.
"So, any other hobbies other then Six Samurai, Shizuma-san?" Mizuki asked, genuinely curious.

"Me? Well...I train in martial arts...umm..." said Shizuma as he thought about it. "I enjoy swimming and reading sometimes...and I do enjoy theater too."
Shizuma while enjoyed dueling almost to a fault. He also enjoyed other hobbies and hoped to maybe explore them someday too. But...the fact he so easily said the last one was something that surprised even him and it showed on his face. It was kind of weird, but as he stood there with her he seemed rather comfortable being around Mizuki.
But regardless, it was now out there in the open for Mizuki to say something about and it was up to him to face up to the words he said. As Zanji always told him, he should take up things he would never be ashamed to admit to, and he would live up to his friend's words. But now that he thought about it...he knew Yaichi was standing there with him, he just wondered if Mizuki could see her too.

Mizuki nodded quietly. "A mixture of physicality and art. Not that odd of a combination." She mused. She kept her hands behind her as she walked, her face incredibly neutral. Her own eyes kept to Shizuma's direction. Her feet crunched along the path towards the main building.
"I enjoy reading myself, but that's truly the only one of those hobbies I share." The corner of her lips curled upwards. "I am a self-admitted oaf when it comes to any form of physical exercise and I've never truly had the bravery for a stage and a spotlight. Reading, quiet instrumental music and an armchair by a fireplace is quite heaven to me." She looked up at the sky and shook her head. "I remember one library near home that is like that; very reminiscent of Western culture." She looked up at the sky and blinked. "Oh yes, and oddly enough I have a fancy for fashion magazines. I suppose that was developed when I was younger and reading them constantly to..."
She drifted off suddenly, and then looked forward. "Help my father shop for clothes." It would seem like an obvious lie, even though it wasn't. It definitely seemed like an uncomfortable answer for Mizuki.

Shizuma raised his eyebrow as he listened to Mizuki's words. However when she mentioned that she liked fashion magazines, he noticed that she trailed off and then as if she was thinking about how to continue she said an end to the sentence. As they walked with her, Yaichi and Shizuma seemed to notice this and while Yaichi wondered why she said it like this, Shizuma figured it was something about a hobby of her own.
"Fashion huh...my Mother's in that industry." said Shizuma idly as he walked with her.

"As is mine." Mizuki said. It was said with a cold tone, and she did her best to come up with a bored look on her face. She kept her hands shoved in her pockets, and her shoulders looked hunched as she said it. All that they both heard was the crunching of pebbles underneath their boots.
She then seemed to remember who she was talking with, and wiped the look of disgust off her face to put on a small smile. "I'm sorry." She said quickly. "My mother's interests have always been work-related." She waved her hand and brushed it off. "No matter, I inherited my hobby from her, no matter how fortunate or unfortunate the case may be. Shall we stop by the main building and grab some lunch, Shizuma-san?"
