GENERAL RULES

• Be respectful
  All staff, members, and guests should get an equal amount of respect both in and out of character. We also do not condone racism, gender inequality, or any anti-tolerance movement. If there is a problem between you and another member, let a staff member know immediately by PM. It is best not to make the problem public lest it get worse. This also includes flaming and trolling, both of which are not acceptable and are subject to ban.
  
  
• Images
  Signatures are not to exceed 500 pixels in length and 300 pixels in height. Avatars by the same description cannot exceed 100 pixels by 100 pixels. Quite obviously, none of these are to have explicit images such as sex or excessive violence as well as any image on the site. If a image is questionable, you will receive a warning from the admins to take it down immediately. Characters are to be represented by drawn characters and not celebrities (There is a face claim - so check there before claiming anything)
  
  
• Characters
  Display names are to be the full name (First then Last name) of your character and display name must match the character, no question. Of course this means that each account will be one character so for additional characters, you must make additional accounts. However, each person has a three character limit unless special permission is given by the admins, which is mostly just making sure that the member is active and responsible enough to be given more characters as we don’t want a lot of dead accounts hanging around.
  
  
• Extra
  No double-posting, save in specific situations where it makes sense or an admin gives you the go ahead. The modify button exists for a reason. Spam, advertisements, and affiliations not made in their respective boards will be deleted and the poster will be subject to ban.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  ROLEPLAY RULES
  
  
  
• The Writing
  This site doesn't have a word count requirement, however you must write enough that your roleplay partner can respond. If they can't respond, you will be expected to try to accomodate them and edit your post to give them something to write about. Spelling and grammar doesn't have to be perfect, though it is nice if your posts make sense since that’s sort of the point. Swearing is allowed but not in excessive amounts, especially in the c-box. Remember that this site is PG-13 so don't swear to often and do not make your posts graphic. Closed threads and developed threads that do not include your character are off-limits unless those in the thread agree to allow you to enter by way of PM.
  
  
• The Commons
  No power-playing and no god-modding. Power-playing is where you randomly gain powers or be invincible. You aren’t gods, you can lose. God-modding is trying to control others characters without their permission. This should be really obvious, but you never know. Also an obvious one- your profile must be accepted before you can RP.
  
  
• Characters
  If you wish to play a canon character, you must first submit a RP post to a staff member for approval using the character that you wish to play. NO CHARACTERS FROM AFTER THE GX TIMELINE. If you are going away for a long time, you will risk deletion if you don’t post an absence thread in the appropriate board, even if you PM an admin about your leave. Sometimes the admins get swamped with PMs and won’t read some if they’re not important while others don’t notify the other admins about people that are on leave that have PMed them. Don’t let that happen to you. In addition if you have any open duels and you go on leave, be sure to try to finish them. If you do not, be sure to let your opponent and the admins know as well as posting in the absence board.
  
  
  DUELING RULES

It is the responsibility of the player to keep track of their own field and make sure the other player is clearly aware of what is on it. Whether you wish to do this with a chart or fine detail, is up to you. However, at the end of the post, you must display your field with this format:
CiH: (Number of cards in hand)
Monsters: (List the Monsters you have in play)
S/T: (List the Spell or Trap cards you have in play)
LP: (Note your current life points)

Yes, OCG can be used, however they must follow their ban regulations if they are only in Japan. Otherwise, follow American regulations.
