Personality: She has a rather happy-go-lucky personality. Aoi doesn't really care much about the details, and usually chooses to ignore things or people that annoy her. She also loves attention, although she doesn't go out of her way to try to get it. Furthermore, she is absolutely clueless when it comes to subtlety. As a result of all these, she is prone to over-the-top displays of affections (mostly involving pounces and/or hugs).
History: Growing up, Aoi has always wanted to be noticed by her parents. Being the middle child, the attention was always focused on her younger sister, and the family's aspirations rests with her older brother. As a result, she usually feels a bit neglected by her family members. However, this also help develop her current personality. She has always found it difficult to make friends, as her over affections sometimes scare people off. As a result, she finds insects to be rather fascinating, since they are able to gather around in swarms and not worry about scaring their companions.
When she got older, Aoi finally got interested in dueling when she witnessed a rather heated duel between her brother and his friends. After a couple of trial and errors, she has made a functional main deck - an insect deck. With her interest in dueling awakened, the relationship between her brother and herself has improved quite a bit. With his advice, she gained some insights to the dragon type. However, Aoi doesn't think that learning just from her brother alone is enough. After a little persuasion, her parents has agreed to let her enroll in Duel Academy.
