Personality:
Mathew if a fairly gentle teenager, he isn't the type that goes around standing over people or fighting people. He likes to solve things by talking and negotiating things out. Especially with the ladies, he cares for them and it gentle and friendly, he always helps them with whatever is at hand.
Mathew is also a really smart kid, he homes to ace the test for Obelisk Blue. He studies hard and doesn't miss any class, he nothing would stop him, even if he had to die to get there. This trait also helps him with his duelling, since it takes high intelligence level to be a good at it, well that's what he thinks.
He is also friendly with everyone around him and communicates with different types of people. Even if someone if really angry at them he still acts friendly with them and talks casually, he is sometimes accused for being a smart ass.
Mathew is really positive at the hardest of times, nothing will bring or break him down, not even pressure. This helps him in his tests and exams, also with rough places when he is duelling.
History:
Mathew was born on the 23rd of September, he lived with his mum and dad, they were both high expecting people. They wanted him to be smart and intelligent just like his father, his father was a master duellist and a super smart man. His mother is pretty much an average wife, works around the house and does all the cleaning.
As Mathew grew older, expections grew higher, he was being high schooled since he was six, he was doing work day in and day out, training his mind early, he wasn't going to become a dualist until he turned fourteen, that's a rule his mother and father both created. Since that was the time his father started duelling other people around the world.
He was now thirteen, one more year away from becoming a duellist, because of this his father started teaching him about duelling. Everything his father knew about it become knowledge of Mathew. After learning a lot about it, he put together his own deck, a deck well made out and thought through one hundred times.
Mathew was now fourteen and ready to become a duellist, he took a boat to academy island, he is now registering and waiting to take an exam to show what ranked duellist he is. His father expects him to ace the test and get Obelisk Blue right off the bag.
