Name: Abigail Abbot Nickname: Abby Age: 15 | May 10th Gender: Female
Appearance: Abigail is a petite girl, of average height and Caucasian skin tone. Her hair is ash-blonde and usually made into quite long pigtails. She has natural green eyes and can almost always be seen with a kind smile on her face.
As for clothes Abigail is quite adept at just wearing whatever is at hand. She doesn't mind, however there is certain kinds of clothes that she feels uneasy in, and will therefore try to avoid wearing those. Usually she just wears a skirt with shorts or such underneath and a t-shirt, however if it is cold she might wear a long coat. However if she can she will wear a dress, she adores those long flowey ball-dresses, and she'd wear one every day if she could.
Face Claim:
Personality:
Caring: Abigail is a very caring person. She always places the health of her friends above her own. This means that her friends are one of the most important things to her, and if she found one of them hurt, she would take care of them the best she could.
Friendly: Abigail is a friendly person who she easily opens up to other people as long as they are nice to her too. Her biggest dream is to be seen as someone good, a hero perhaps. She doesn't want to be seen as a bad person that hurts people, she is therefore ready to give everyone a second chance, even if they do screw up. Her friendliness is probably one of her biggest limitations as a duelist, due to it, she simply can't get herself to try and outright win a match. She would purposely try to lose, unless there was something really big on the line, that she could not afford not to win.
Team-player: When she is in a group, she always chooses her action based on what will benefit the group. She is a real team player; she would easily give up personal gain for the team. This also gives her a very good attribute of not being greedy at all. She does not heave for power or personal profit, therefore making her very resistant to being corrupted by money.
People pleaser: Because of her personality being a strong team player type, she has also developed some people pleaser tendencies. She simply can't stop giving in to people if they ask her to do something. Of course she can resist if it's a stranger. But you will rarely find her saying no to a friend, or close family. It's simply just too much for her to handle when they become angry. That's why she tries to avoid making them angry by pleasing them.
History: Abigail was born into an average family, with your default loving father and mother. She was especially loved by her father, who for some odd reason – a reason she never asked about – favored her. Though at a young age she didn't even know why it seemed as if she was the favored child even though she was a single child. The love of her parents were all great and such, but she for some odd reason were unable to acquire any friends on her own age, besides a few rare exemptions. The majority simply all seemed to want to use her for their own gain, through manipulation of her sweet and gentle nature, she was the perfect scapegoat for their evil schemes.
As a kid Abigail always had this odd interest in dragons. You wouldn't expect it, considering how big and blood thirsty dragons usually are depicted. But deep down something about them simply spoke to her. If you were to ask her she loved them because of some sort of hidden beauty.
When her father thought she was old enough he bought her a Duel Monster Deck. It was a dragon based deck with a rulebook and various other merchandise, of course. Only the – what he thought - best for his little lovely daughter. That was how her dream of becoming a good duelist started out. She wanted to impress her father with becoming a professional duelist. But she was still too young to sign up at the Duel Academy. So, she just played against whoever she could. She rarely won, in fact she lost 9/10 times. But she never gave up, she continued to play, and lose, rarely did she win but she savored those few times she actually won, but only as long as the opponent didn't express sadness or anger at the loss.
As the time went by she noticed something, something odd. At first she thought it was hallucinations, but no, it seemed she could see Duel spirits. She seemingly had two Spirit partners, one way different than the other. They became friends with her rather fast, and they were quickly inseparable. Not long after that she was supposed to take the entrance exam to enter the Duel Academy. Unfortunately for some odd reason she got cold feet and as such ran away in shame. The person she ran to was her half-brother, a person her father had never mentioned for some odd reason, but her grand-parents had mentioned him not too long before she ran, she ran to him because it was too shameful to run to her parents.
