Sahtra went with silence to answer his question. Well, sort of answer it. She put a finger up to her lips, careful not to touch them to mess up her make up at all, and winked at him. She moved to cut her steak and was happy to see it perfect. She took a small bite and chewed carefully and slowly. She savored the juices before swallowing. Well, she would have to inform Daddy of the cooks here. She would want one when she went home. They put Daddy's cooks to shame. She returned to work on her side, speaking before she took another bite.
"Their food is better than I thought it was going to be."
She bumped her foot into his again, a half smile playing across her lips.
