She was trying to catch one of their attentions without actually going over to them, or at least it looked that way. Considering she had a duel disc on her arm and she was fingering a deck box with her long index finger, it was almost clear she wanted a duel.
Did she have many people to test her decks out on? Not really. Mizuki Haruka was a bit reclusive like that. Hell. Since she had come here and had decided to actually talk to people, she had only talked to two; one a cloud otaku, and the other a samurai otaku. It would be interesting to find someone NORMAL here.
She sighed and brushed aside a strand of her brown hair to keep it from catching in the buttons of her yellow blazer. Her eyes narrowed in boredom, curiously blue pools of disdain, as she couldn't find someone to challenge. Well that was just damn well unfortunate. [/style]

The first step to getting better is to actually actively try out new things. What better way is there to learn than to go over to the arena and observe others dueling? Also, she actually has another deck that she could toy with as well, and Aoi thought that she could possibly gain some insight as to how to use this deck to its full capability. After entering the arena and observing the environment a little, she noticed a lone girl who seems to be waiting for someone to duel against. Deciding to pass the time, she approached the girl and said, "Hey there, what are you doing?"

A blonde girl, with black tips at the end of her hair, and bright red eyes. She kept quiet and almost seemed to examine her for a moment, as if analyzing her or shaping her up or something. Then she turned completely towards Aoi.
"I'm looking for a duel." She said simply. "I have a deck I wish to test." It was to the point and blunt. That was just the way she communicated.
"What are you doing, may I ask?" She asked in that same neutral, matter-of-fact tone. [/style]

Well, the response was a little more bland than she expected, but didn't seem hostile either. Shrugging to herself slightly, she replied, "Just trying to observe some duels. Not doing much right now." Although... since Aoi has a new deck herself, should she be testing it out before actually having it as one of her routine decks? After pondering about it for a while, she stated, "Well, I do have a deck I need testing as well, so how about it?" As she said that, her hand is already fidgeting around with the deck box that has her newest deck in it. This will be her first official duel at the academy, and she is nervous before her potential opponent even accepted the invitation.
