Tori watched the kids rush off the boat towards Domino. She couldn't help but blink as they pushed each other away to try and get space. You'd think they had been held hostage for a year without outside contact... She looked down at the flier in her hand. Or maybe they all just wanted to get to the sales that were in town. After all, it was warming up and that would mean more swimming and more... She paled at the thought as she started to walk down the ramp to the docks. She was in her normal black turtleneck and blue jeans with black boots. The gold bandanna atop her short silver hair was the only color that probably stood out on her. Well, other than her naturally pale skin. Most people would look her over--or at least, in Miami they did--but those who took the time to look at her would see the naturally red eyes from the albino genetics she had. With this thought, she donned a pair of sunglasses that made the daylight bearable. She took a deep breath one she was on the pier, enjoying the crisp breeze from the water's direction. She had to get a new swimsuit. The old one was... well, it had to get thrown away after a washing machine ate it... long story. When her eyes fell upon the street signs, her face paled. She didn't know how to read Japanese. She had never bothered learning. "Oh man... where is help when you need it..."Her heart sank and she chose to sit on the dock until she could figure out the map and directions to the store that was having the sale. Every now and again, she would flail her arms with annoyance. She should have taken the writing lessons instead of just the audio lessons from her parents.

Masato followed behind the other students off the boat, watching as the more energetic students run off further in the city. Well that was interesting. Smiling as he walked down the dock. While the other students pushed and shoved to try and get for what they needed, his eye glanced down at his list. “Let’s see, I need thread, needles, string, and …. I feel like I’m missing something.”
He started to think of the various styles of clothing he could make, thus multiplying his list by ten at least. The overweight teen, had been wearing his red jacket, but left it unbuttoned revealing a dark blue shirt with a yellow and a red lightning bolt crossing each other on the front. He had switched out his normal earrings that he, had bought before coming to the academy, with two gold lightning bolt versions with blue outlines, that Akio had sent him. He couldn’t wait to get everything that he needed, and to get back to work.
”Oh man… where is help when you need it…”
Turning his head when he heard someone started mention, he noticed the specific tone in statement, and he used to have same sound in his voice when he was lost back home. He looked over to see a girl looking at a map as she sat on the pier. Taking note on the way she dressed, it was basic but it had a unique vision to it. “Is something wrong?” Masato walked over to her, trying not laugh when she flailed her arms in frustration.

The voice startled her and she jumped. The map dropped from her hand and started to flutter away from her towards the water. She let out a shriek and quickly spun on her but so that she could kneel on the dock to reach the map. It took her two tries, but she eventually caught the map, on the edge of falling face first in the water. When she realized this, she jerked back, rolling on her feet and bouncing a bit back, face paler than normal. After a few blinks, she turned to face the person speaking. Oh! Another Osiris student! This made her feel a bit more at ease. She blushed slightly with nervousness and looked down at the map. "No... Well, yes... I got the Japanese version of the Map because they were out of the English copies and I can't understand it..."She sighed, and the ends of her bandanna where it was tied in the back seemed to echo her emotions, drooping ever so slightly. Again, she kicked herself for not learning the written language. You'd think she would have after living with the Kyoakuhan family for as long as she did, but no. She looked up at him, perhaps a glimpse of her red eyes peeking out of the glasses for a moment and then held the map out to him. "Will you help me? I'm trying to find a store to buy some summer clothes..."

Masato almost jumped as the other student shrieked, and turned to reach for the map. He was afraid that he had scared her, when he offered to help and was hoping she wasn’t going to fall in trying to get the map. A sigh of relief escaped him when she pulled the map up and smiled as the blushing teen looked down at the Japanese map. A small laugh escaped him as, she mentioned about the map. The thought of one of the letter Akio had sent him, about the lack of knowing people who spoke Japanese where they moved.
“No well, yes… I got the Japanese version of the map because they were out of the English copies and I can’t understand it…”
“Alright let me see.” Masato knelt down looking at the map. Everything was pretty basic, but he knew not understanding a language can be a hindrance. Masato didn’t really question about people not knowing the language, expect when he wanted to give people a hard time. “Will you help me? I’m trying to find a store to buy some summer clothes…”
A smile came across his face; in one aspect he could help her find a clothing shop that would sale summer clothing but there would be no fun in that. They would have the lack of homemade clothing. “I could, or” his smiled widened as a finger came up and tapped the top of his head as he continued his sentence. “I could always design an outfit for you.” Masato reached and pulled out a notebook, and a pencil. Hoping for a specific answer.

Tori's jaw dropped when he offered to design an outfit for her. She shook her head as she ran over his words again. "D-Design me some clothes?"Her cheeks flushed and she turned her eyes to the map. She never had anything personally designed for her... She looked to the side, the sunglasses hiding the action. She bit her bottom lip. Her hands clutched the map, wrinkling it a bit. What would they say at home if she did that? "How would that work? I mean, I've never had something like this--that--um..."She brought a hand up and tugged lightly on her bandanna, cheeks blushing more still. She probably looked like a fool. She muttered a bit, mostly questions like: how much? what would I have to do? what else has been designed? etc. Finally she brought her head back up and smiled at him. "I suppose it wouldn't hurt anything, right?"She let go of her bandanna, the silver strands that dangled in front of her face slightly shifted from it's normal possition. "I'm Victoria Kyoakuhan--but others call me Tori or Tor-I depending on language backgrounds..."

D-Design me some clothes?”
He watched as she blushed, clutching the map. Masato tilted his head softly, unaware on the confusion he had caused. He didn’t want to embarrass her, just trying to be helpful. He smiled as she looked back up at him.
”How would that work? I mean, I’ve never had something like this—that—um…”
“Well usually take some measurements, decide a pattern or concept, and buy the material.” A smile came across his lips as he looked at her with a smile on his face. “And the rest will be up to me.” He looked back as she let go of her bandana and smiled at him.
”I suppose it wouldn’t hurt anything, right?”
“It shouldn’t, unless I leave a needle or pin in, but I’m usually really good about not forgetting those.” He thought about where they were, and turned back to her as she introduced herself.
”I’m Victoria Kyoakuhan—but others call me Tori or Tor-I depending on language backgrounds…”
He stood back up, looking around, before turning back to offering his hand to help her up. Masato’s smile widened when he noticed the hair that was sticking out from in front of her face. “It’s nice to meet you, I’m Masato Oshiro.”

"Like wise!"She responded to the 'nice to meet you part' before she accepted help to stand. Since they were holding hands for her to stand back up, she used the opportunity to shake hands once she was on her feet. After she was done with the hand shake, she pointed to his jacket with a smile. "We're in the same dorm, did you know what? How long have you been here? Oh, where would we do the measurements and such? And the materials, where would we go to buy them? And--"When she realized she was rambling at a fast pace and firing questions off like a machine gun, she slapped her free hand over her mouth. Her face went a bright red and she looked down. Oh god, why did she always do that? Slowly she moved her hand from her mouth. "Sorry, I ramble easily... If I start to get annoying feel free to tell me to shut up."She stated it bluntly but if she was annoying, she wanted to know. She shifted her weight to allow one boot to trace random shapes on the dock. Her hands were both in front of her in the fig leaf stance. If you don't know the fig leaf stance, here is a tidbit from Body Language Dictionary explaining it! This posture occurs by placing one or both hands in front of the crotch blocking it from view. The hands are usually clasped together. It shows insecurity and occurs when someone is in a novel environment or around people they don’t know and aren’t familiar with.

"We're in the same dorm, did you know what? How long have you been here? Oh, where would we do the measurements and such? And the materials, where would we go to buy them? And--"
Masato nodded he waited for the young teen to try and catch her breath, wondering how long she could go without taking a breath. It’s like morse code. He let out a small laugh as he saw his chance to answer her questions. “Let’s see in that order. No I didn’t know that, it’s nice to know someone else in the same dorm. I’ve been there for almost a week. And the measurements and the materials can be done in the same place. As far as that goes we can take care of that at Ayame’s.” Masato blinked when he said it. He was having trouble keeping himself, from hugging the other student, mostly since people have a tendency to not see in the same way he does. “Oh, right Ayame is a sister of a friend of mine, and she’s also the one who taught me to sew. Fair warning though she’s, how do I put it? Different.”
"Sorry, I ramble easily... If I start to get annoying feel free to tell me to shut up."
He bit his lip as he tried, but couldn’t resist. Something between her modest answer and the way she was standing. So cute. Masato, before he realized what he was doing, hugged the silver haired girl. After about a minuet of awkwardness he quickly took three steps back, and blushed heavily. “Sorry about that, I kind of have a problem hugging people. I wasn’t trying to be creepy, it just accidently happens.”

Tori blinked when she was hugged. She was about to return the hug when he stepped away. As his face turned red, Tori couldn't help but smile. He reminded her of the Kyoakuhans--in a way. They were so open and accepting when they adopted her. Truth was, the hug didn't bother her. She just wasn't expecting it. "I don't mind."She spoke in a soft voice before her smile widened. She stepped forward and hugged him quickly. When she released him, she put her hands behind her back, color playing along her cheeks as smiled at him. "I didn't get to hug you back so... You said she taught you to sew? That's awesome! I don't know how to sew... I don't even think I could patch a pair of pants without mucking it up..."She tried to figure it out how that would work. She played the images through her head of the type of sewing she had seen in shows, movies, or in the past. She shook her head. That was just too complicated for her. As if snapping back into reality, she shook her head softly, the stands of hair and tails of her bandanna swaying lightly. She gave an apologetic smile with a courtesy blush. "What kind of designs did you have in mind, by the way?"

“I don’t mind.”
Masato smiled as she commented, it wasn’t often that he found some who didn’t freak out about his quirky actions. He was slightly surprised when Tori had hugged him; it wasn’t that it surprised him, but most people where usually taken aback when he did that. It was interesting to see someone who didn’t have problems with his hugging issue.
“I didn’t get to hug you back so… You said she taught you to sew? That’s awesome! I don’t know how to sew… I don’t even think I could patch a pair of pants without mucking it up…”
“Heh, right.” Masato answered on her commented on hugging him back, a slight blush across his face. His full attention was brought back to his current world as the other student had asked about her teaching him to sew. “Yeah, my friend brought me by her shop when I was younger and I just kind of fell in love with the art.” His smile grew as she commented; most people had resolves about his passion. “If you want I could teach you some of the basic stuff, patches and minor fixes are extremely easy with practice.”
“What kind of designs did you have in mind, by the way?”
“That really depends on you. I can think of several designs but if they don’t work for the person wearing them, then they wouldn’t be right.”

Tori face palmed. Of course... of course! She was an idiot... Her cheeks went bright red and she pulled the bandanna down a bit again. "Duh, Tori..."She muttered this before she laughed nervously. "Well, I am normally very plain... um... Oh, I hate skirts. I hate dresses. Very much."As she said this, her blush left and her voice shifted to sound passionate. Oh the hate for those vile things... She went silent for a second in thought. "Um... I would really just like suggestions on what you would think would work for me. I-I really wouldn't know what would look good on me."Which was why she was originally going to go by the display pictures in the store. She was also scared if she said too many things of like and dislike, she would defeat the purpose of summer clothes--as she normally wore jeans and shirts that would cover her arms--no matter the heat. But she was far from home and far from the bullies in school--it was time to try and break the shy barrier she had formed in life. "I would love to learn--maybe I could patch a few clothes that I was going to replace and get some more time out of them."

Masato watched as Tori turned red, and mumbled to herself. He wondered on what she had mumbled, but figured it was for the best not to pursue it. He smiled when she laughed, and took notes on what she had thought would be best about her clothing.
“Well, I am normally very plain… um… Oh, I hate skirts. I hate dresses. Very much.”
Masato wrote down the few notes she gave him, and started to think of a design. It would have to be something that wasn’t heavily out there, and would be a dress or skirt. It was a start in his mind on what to make. He picked up the change in her voice when she mentioned dresses. “Alright, no dresses or skirts, and nothing far out; that I can do.”
“Um… I would really just like suggestions on what you would think would work for me. I-I really wouldn’t know what would look good on men.”
He sighed when she mentioned about what he thought would be perfect. He tried to think of what would be great for her, and not off set her skin and hair color. He started to think of things that might be more practical then. As he started to come up with ideas, he was still needed to come up with a pattern. “Well, I can think of something that would be more practical would be best. As far as patterns I’m not sure, something with a medium color would work best. Let’s see what type of design we can come up with.” He slightly toyed with one of his earrings, as he thought about an idea, something came to him. “Well let’s start with some basic questions. What’s your favorite color, and what type of decks do you like to run?”
“I would love to learn—maybe I could patch a few clothes that I was going to replace and get some more time out of them.”
He smiled as she commented on how she would love to learn to patch up her clothes. Masato was always happy to find others who wanted to learn how to sew, and even more so when they were willing to learn from him. He started to work on a few designs as he continued to think on what the design would be.

"Favorite color? Probably pink... or lavender! I like colors like that... um... I run a burn deck... fire monsters in that one... but it's not good... and I have a hero deck--equally as bad... But they will get better. I know they will."She added the last statement in a hurry before giving him a large smile. Yeah, pink and lavender... "Oh and I like light blue. Pretty much Easter Colors if you think about it..."She trailed off as her brain followed the thought pattern. Easter was coming up, wasn't it? Maybe she could wear the new outfit for Easter! She could send home pictures to the Kyoakuhan's and they would love it! She smiled softly and her hand toyed with a strand of hair. She could send a picture to Orlando! How would he react to seeing her in something other than jeans and a turtleneck?
